EZ-2 EvaporatorThe third generation of the EZ-2 Series is the pinnacle of parallel evaporation that draws on the expertise of Genevacs’ engineers and the experiences of many scientists in the laboratory. The EZ-2 is a compact sample concentrator which combines great performance, ease of use and compatibility with all commonly used solvents and acids.

To enable all users to achieve excellent results every time, the EZ-2 has been made easier to use than a conventional rotary evaporator. In addition to accommodating many more samples, it can operate entirely unattended. The patented Dri-Pure ® sample protection system prevents cross-contamination and sample loss due to bumping.

For extra peace of mind with thermally sensitive samples, the EZ-2 temperature control and Auto Stop systems protect your samples during operation. There is no need for special training – just load, set and walk away!

There are four models in the EZ-2 Series: Standard, Envi, Plus & Elite

• The Standard (EZ-2) is suitable for water and volatile solvents with BP’s up to 120°C

• The Envi (EZ-2 Envi) is recommended for concentration of environmental samples that require a ‘solvent keep’ as well as water and volatile solvents with BP’s up to 120°C

• The Plus (EZ-2 Plus) is recommended for solvents with boiling points up to 165°C

• The Elite (EZ-2 Elite) is recommended for solvents with boiling points up to 220°C

The EZ-2 Elite, Plus and Envi can have new methods added or existing methods optimised.
