A Study on the Selection of Modifiers and their impact on Enantioselectivity in Chiral Stationary Phases (CSPs)
When trying to find an analytical SFC method that can resolve two specific isomers, this process often involves screening different column and mobile phase combinations. To increase efficiency in preparative chromatography, finding a chiral stationary phase/modifier combination that gives good baseline resolution in the gradient screen is key. Using the Sepmatix 8 channel parallel SFC system from Sepiatec, the aim of this work is to analyse whether the selection of modifiers has an impact on the enantioselectivity on a certain chiral stationary phase (CSP), and if the modifiers studied are generally complementary.
